I have tried bypassing my proxy server on my machine but there is still something keeping the update from running connecting correctly. If it does not work check the following: 1. The EASE online tools are use the proxy settings from the default web browser. Be sure to have the right settings there. 2. Be sure there is no additional firewall which blocks the EASE tools. Passing in both directions is needed. 3. Be sure no proxy authentication with a different account then the logged in Windows user account is necessary. 4. Be sure to have the right HTTP settings in the default web browser (e.g. when using a proxy in IE "Use HTTP through proxy connection" must be enabled).
