(Probably some translation needed between values). I chatted with an engineer at Perdue and he wasn't sure how to do this in EASE. Any ideas on how to add SAC's for their materials into the DB? I think there could be two approaches to modeling such wedges in EASE. In small rooms, the wedges should be modeled as an explicit geometric object, using an appropriate absorption material on each side. The absorption coefficients could be derived from the Perdue SAC values. In a large venue such as a stadium, simple surfaces with an equivalent absorption area could be used. What I had done is to store the values of each material as half of what Perdue says it is, and then add the panels slightly separated from the surface they are supposed to be and then add a back layer of the same material. Not sure if it is accurate, but at least it creates (for me) the illusion of adding "equivalent" amount of absorption. BTW, I also asked Perdue about it, up to when they actually hired somebody versed in EASE, but I never had a definite answer from them.
